Halfway through it as we speak.

I have done 4/5 the 5th one is making me want to break something. I think you only need the 1st three for the story line the 4th gives you more info into Nick's history. With the 5th gives you the location for some new amour

Tried Survival mode for the first time. Starving and dehydrated by the time I reach concord, only for the Deathclaw to give me my tatties and send me back fifteen minutes

Spending more time developing the Red Rocket now, with a bed/water pump/cooking station now all in position. Feel like all the settlements are going to play a massive part in this now.

I immediately chose the perk to link settlements as soon as I could activate it. I've managed to find so many little nooks and crannies because you feel pressured to really limit your exploration before you take any risks. I probably am always a couple of minutes run away from a settlement in case I need to dump stuff and save my progress. It really is the best thing Bethesda could've done for the game IMO.

It really is, before I'd see Raiders/Dogs/Bloodbugs and just pummel straight into them. Now I shit myself as I realise I've not saved in ages, so frantically try and run and hide before they see me. Nothing scarier than finding something tremendous, trying to get back to a safe place and running into enemies in every direction.

Would never have played through the game again if they hadn't have added survival. Added so much depth.

Built a sneak character and got the overseer's guardian. Feels good 1 shotting some of the enemies that would have been bullet sponges before.
