and replace it with a similarly corrupt and broken political system in Edinburgh

and it's hot chocolate not cocoa ... they're different you know ... now that is patronising not anything I've posted before

What is patronising is telling us our vote on our independence is undemocratic because you want a say in it. There is likely to be some effect on the running of the EU also. For the sake of democracy lets give all the EU citizens a vote also.

But don't forget if we manage to somehow sneak a yes with our blatant undemocratic vote all our politicians are just corrupt anyway.

The English need to learn to shed the UKIP/BNP/EDL ranting xenophobes, reclaim a bit of national pride and sort out their shit instead of whining that others who have had enough of living in the shadow of their shit are taking a stand and doing what they should have done decades ago.

Regardless of the 'threat' of a couple of Scottish businesses moving their registered offices to London, the unremarkable results of yet another inconclusive poll, the deranged 'the Russians are coming to get us' rantings of the lunatic fringe and Mark Carney's latest suggestion that we'll have to enter into a currency agreement with Panama for use of the balboa, the invites for my Sept 18th/19th Independence All-Nighter are going in the post tomorrow.

To be fair, not one of those parties or groups have a seat at westminster, so accutaly you look more like a xenophobe.

Same but the next 8 days are going to be torture :(

It's a democratic process, the arguments haven't changed since day one. The 3 stooges shat themselves and are calling in every favour they can, but ultimately they are still selling a negative message of "shit now, possible jam later, maybe, if we fancy it".

The case for independence is still a hugely positive and beneficial one even if it involves taking a minor hit at the start.

Im voting Labour.

Labour supporter defending Trident? Quelle surprise.

I am still waiting for you to tell me where the new UK aircraft carrier is going to attack. Why won't you answer that question?

Its not your nuclear system it belongs to the United States.

Actually it's a lease, so it means ownership until expiry. And Ukraine gave there's up in 1991, roll on 2014.

Do you think they would have been invaded if they had nukes?

Misquoted again. I never said an aircraft carrier will be used for attack.

An aircraft carrier can be used in defense, any person over the age of 5 can figure that out.

And once again, more ignorance of Russian politics. If they wanted to invade Ukraine they could roll tanks into Kiev in a matter of hours. It's closer than Crimea and during the political upheaval there was more of a case for Putin to do that. Putin is this crazy war mongerer remember? He just dropped the ball big time on that, right?

You are writing so much shite you don't even know what you are saying.

Unless you are trying to claim that if the Russians buy a second hand ship it's for attack, but if the UK builds an aircraft carrier it's only for defence, because that would make you sound like you need to re-wrap your tin foil hat.

The nukes in ukraine belonged to russia and like our hired ones couldn't be launched independently. So what is your point.

CB loves to play that tune with regards to the far right down south, Aye UKIP have done well in the regionals as a loud protest vote, but they don't have one single MP.

As for the BNP & EDL, they are both nonentities with regards to the English voter, they are hated and despised, but CB would have you believe that most middle Englishmen and Women are inherently racist and that the views of the BNP/EDL are rife throughout the regions of England.

Its complete bollo*ks!

Rob, Rob, Rob... you really don't want to drop your hat in this ring, because we all know your leanings.

Anyway, the point is that English nationalism is a toxic brand, you can't deny that. The English need to reclaim that, devolve the powers away from the London bubble and stop looking upon Scotland as if it's throwing it's toys out of the pram when all it wants is to align it's politics in a direction that mainstream Westminster parties aren't taking them.

Loses the argument AGAIN

and insults AGAIN

You are a real piece of work.

for the last time MISTRAL (amphibious assault ship) for invading islands or other continents, it's not an aircraft carrier you tit. They plan to build a fleet of Mitrals, they plan to spend 21% GDP and they are testing new nukes.

READ THE BUDDAPEST MEMORADUM 1994 after indipendence.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_weapons_and_Ukraine

You are ignorant and arrogant and 100% wrong on everything it seems.

YOU HAVE YOUR HEAD UP YOUR OWN ASRE.

it's not second hand, it's brand new state of the art assult ship for invading Islands.
