Baxter Parp Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) I'd expect a No of around 60%-65% when its all said and done. They are Union Flags, and why would there be none to wave around? Are the SNP going to burn them?..... Anyhoo, I note tomorrows Daily Mail is claiming Lloyds TSB is moving from Edinburgh to England due to uncertainty in the independence campaign. No surprise. Well, the only surprise is that they think the Yes could win. Still, not good for jobs in Scotland. Lloyds TSB doesn't exist. I believe that the majority of the English branches of Lloyds TSB are now operating as Lloyds Bank. Please keep up. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lichtgilphead Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 My mistake. But aside from the pedantic response, the point still stands. No. I'm afraid your point does not stand, as the current holding company for the TSB brand is already based in England. http://www.theguardian.com/business/2014/feb/20/lloyds-holding-company-tsb-bank-float Lloyds said: "The new company replaces an existing company which currently holds TSB Bank in the [Lloyds Banking Group] corporate structure and, like this existing company, will be registered in London at TSB's main office." Thanks for your false concern about Scottish job losses though. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SodjesSixteenIncher Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 (edited) Anyone mind how Gideon strode North and killed Independence stone dead last week? Edited February 21, 2014 by SodjesSixteenIncher 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Confidemus Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 My mistake. But aside from the pedantic response, the point still stands. Well, I must say, I'm astonished that a "no" voter is fabricating scary stories. That NEVER happens. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted February 21, 2014 Share Posted February 21, 2014 They are Union Flags, and why would there be none to wave around? Are the SNP going to burn them?..... Both Union Jack and Union Flag are recognised as acceptable names for the flag FFS, I'd expect you to know that. http://www.flaginstitute.org/wp/british-flags/the-union-jack-or-the-union-flag/ If you want to have an argument about flags I suggest you move to Northern Ireland 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nevada Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 It's going to be fucking hilarious come August when the polls are neck and neck. The Unionists will be sinking lower and lower trying to stop the inevitable. Dream on -2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Burma Posted February 22, 2014 Share Posted February 22, 2014 zero votes were cast in favour of backing the no campaign zero votes were cast in favour of backing the no campaign zero votes were cast in favour of backing the no campaign zero votes were cast in favour of backing the no campaign zero votes So "just to be clear" (its a good phrase and one I nicked off Cameron; just the same way he nicked it off Blair) of the 24000+ votes that were cast not a single vote was in favour of supporting the NO campaign?? How is this even remotely possible? Didnt Cameron and Gideon kill the debate stone dead. Or to quote HB "torpedoed" 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
