Technically its a move, all-be-it only 400 yds away.  Think its costing 600 million.

Least they staying close to their roots, and not doing this souless out of town grounds like Bolton have done and Aberdeen are planning.

Its less than 400 yards as the pitch at one end will either overlap or be very close to where one of the ends were.

Bournemouth turned their stadium by 90 degrees and that was not considered a move but only some of the pitch is where the old pitch was (As did Wembley)

I would guess they going to play on 10- 20% of the old pitch area.

They have moved 400 yds away, so they have moved.

Compare the end of their stand to the end of the old stand, its a move.

They've expanded their existing site and moved along a bit within their existing site. They're actually now nearer White Hart Lane. It's a poor marketing con that most people can easily see through.

IIRC Wolves did that at Molineux.

The pitch was also turned by 90 degrees when Cardiff Arms Park was redeveloped.

Have Tottenham ever claimed to be moving? They mention "moving into a new home" a lot, which I doubt anyone could argue with as it's a completely new build.

Seems like an argument out of nothing

How is it technically a move?

They completely demolished their old stadium.

The stadium they will play in is NOT the White Hart Lane.

They are moving to a new stadium. So I would say they are moving,

Wow, capital letters. Well, that's me convinced it's not just the gullible that think it's different.

Atletico after what seems like an eternity have finally moved to their new stadium which seems to have went down a lot better than expected, apparently they still need to do some cosmetic work on it but I do like that they kept the old stand so it has some uniqueness to it.

Not exactly on scale being looked at in recent pages but closer to home Kelty Hearts have received planning permission for their new grandstand, to be built during the 2018 closed season.

I nipped over the bridge to watch our U20s here on Friday night Hibee. What a great facility it is going to be.
