It's up to the clubs to put the idea forward You would think the majority of the super 1st and district sides would be all for it. Only increases their chances of playing in a league with the likes of talbot , meadow etc. Guess the problem always is what do you do below the top league once you have 16 in the top flight. Could have 16 or 14 team league below too. 30 league games can be done by starting couple of weeks earlier & using midweeks instead of league cup as East Region have lead by example and managed fine with 30 games. More guaranteed league income as 15 home games instead of just 11 would help all our clubs out. Also you can be quite unlucky finish 10th and go down via play offs as Ashfield have done and others then plummet down divisions. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Has any team ever had as good a start in the Premier League as Irvine Meadow have this season? Would expanded Premier and First division leagues not impact badly on the remaining teams in the ADL? Do Talbot , Cumnock , and Glenafton fans travel in decent numbers to the likes of lugar / kello / muirkirk at the start of the season . Can't imagine after all these years of and with genuine respect i say this the tanking the big three by and large give these teams that many do.
