Not on loan, he was on loan at said club and then the deal got made perm

Fair do's.  Sorry. Must be cash involved then.  Seems a sound investment.

300k euros so about 250k GBP with the fees for Muirhead and Rossi wouldn't imagine being too far away

It would be a good statement to the support that there is money in place if required and not all spunked on the new stand (that still needs additional funding)

Yep, never know might be one of these deals paid a 50k every 35 appearances or something dafts like that, they seem to be taking there time with the 3mil shortfall although i think 2mil of that is contingency

Would make sense as I read Famagusta are paying off Rio Ave in installments.

It was Ian Cathro whosuggested him to Saints when he was working for Rio Ave and Isma played there. He was fantastic with us. His first week in Scotland he scored against Celtic at Hampden in the League Cup Semi final win, then scored midweek in the league in another win and then scored twice on the Saturday in a Scottish Cup win. Possibly the last time we won 3 games in a row come to think of it

Is he actually any good, though?

Well he's currently playing for a mob lying 9th in Cyprus after finishing 6th last season.  Maybe he just needs the correct management.  Was good for St Mirren mind.

Was way too good for us 4 years ago, the most frightening thing was he wasn't even match fit. We didn't really get to see the best of him but he still shone for us.

His career hasn't went as it should if he is returning back to Scotland, obviously hard to judge him after 4 years. He could be rank. He was fond of the bevvy and a few mixed race babies may or may not have been produced on the night of our cup final.

Will stick my neck out and say if he is anything like the player who was at Saints he'll be a great signing.

That's enough for me to hope we hand him a 3 year deal!

On a serious note, with the right management Esma will be a revelation. He's fond of a bevvy though

McGhees interview was great, spoke from the heart and just said how he felt. Cathro was like a shy laddie that had to get up infront of the class to do show and tell. Rattled by a straight forward question and trying his hardest to sound clever.

Absolutely no doubt Cathro was rattled, and looked silly.

Not having it with McGhee, though - passionate, sure - but looked like a broken man - totally speechless, apart from publicly heaping the blame on his players - pretty sure his mascara was running anaw.
