Brilliant that they are showing some Bundesliga, missed it all this past weekend. They should be showing Paderborn v Stuttgart in my opinion though.

Probably aware by now but Stuttgart game on BT sport extra

Hamburg relegation play off

Who do they face in the play off? Really wanted them to go down. Stuttgart have had a woeful season and have to strengthen big time for next season, will Stevens stay? Paderborn always looked likely to go down, particularly from Xmas onwards. Freiburg also. Been a great Bundesliga season with a competitive league albeit Bayern winning at a canter. Hope the rest can close the gap on them next season.

Assuming Darmstadt beat St. Pauli and take 2nd spot, then it's between Karlsruhe & Kaiserslautern for the play-off spot. Going on their

respective opponents, then Karlsruhe would seem to be more likely.

I hope to high heaven Hamburg get relegated.

Dortmund didn't make Europe

Dortmund will make Europe though. Either by winning the DFB-Pokal next Saturday, or if they lose to Wolfsburg then 7th in the league, ie Dortmund, will get in.

Just back from the H96 - Freiburg game. Was always going to be tense, but Kiyotake's goal in the 3rd minute helped ease a lot of nerves. In the 1st half H96 were the better team, but after the break, was all Freiburg and the proverbial squeaky-bum time. Thankfully Jimmy Briand got a goal with 5 mins. to go, which meant that Freiburg's last minute goal had no relevance.

Despite being sceptical about Frontsecks appointment a couple of weeks ago, he's kept H96 in the BL which was the task he was appointed for. Probably best to hold on to him.

Worked out not bad then...

Genuinely cannot believe that Augsburg came back to win yesterday. I suppose the red card would have had a huge impact on that, but what an achievement for a small club like Augsburg to qualify for the Europe League. Reaping the benefits of taking a huge gamble to build their own stadium a few years back. Those plans were hatched when they were struggling the bottom end of the 3. Liga, and plenty thought that they were crazy building a 30,000 capacity stadium when they were getting crowds of 4,000, and struggling financially. Shows what having a good business plan will do.

Pretty excited to see the draw now, would be great to get at least one really big club in their group.

Darmstadt win 1-0 against St. Pauli and go up with champions Ingolstadt who drew 1-1 at Kaiserslautern.

Play-off on Thursday/Sunday is between SV Hamburg & Karlsruher SC.

At the other end of BL2, Aue & Aalen go down directly. 1860 Munich go in to a play-off against Holstein Kiel, to see who joins Arminia Bielefeld as well as Smurph's & Fudge's Duisburg!

Hoping there'll be a Hamburg derby next year!
