HibeeJibee
Tynecastle-Newtongrange abandoned? Aye, in its death-throes only Bonnyrigg, Leith, Newtongrange and 2 others participated (East Linton + Murieston). Leith was a bit puzzling, tbh.

Must mean they are playing elsewhere away from Newbyres Park as there's been no news/planning permission for their move to a new ground (3g/lights) or getting lights. Hopefully there are enough players in the area to support all the U20s, given WW, Nitten, Dalkeith have teams and Bonnyrigg are starting one up.
Burnie_man
Blackburn United will be entering after the false start this season. Possibly the only U20 side in West Lothian as things stand (Livingston FC apart)

Vital they get somewhere close by Ginaro but sure they’ll have something in mind. -

GNU_Linux
It wont be long before there are more u-20 teams in this league than there are u-21 teams in the whole of Scotland.what u21 leagues are still around? Juvenile football has been dying a slow death since clubs started doing their own in house youth development

GNU_Linux
Hopefully if the west juniors slot in at tier 6 some of their u21s join the LL u20s

Originally the EOS U19s played on Sundays and I think the short-lived U21s played on Saturdays. There has been a social shift with more players in their late teens wanting their weekends to themselves - whether to do part-time jobs while still at school, to come home from university or college, or let's be honest to recover from the night before...! Where this league cracked it was the dual move of shifting to Friday nights, predominantly on 3G venues (but still requiring good standard of facilities); and allowing a couple of overage players a limited number of times each. There was always a big incentive for clubs... being senior, they could move players seamlessly between adult team and U20s, and it was always known for good refereeing and strict discipline. Dual move enhanced this for clubs - by giving adult players returning from injuries a run-out, and making it possible for youngsters to feature for the adult team on the Saturday without them missing their U20s game or losing their whole weekend. It also enhanced this for players - by almost guaranteeing them a game every week, and not impinging upon their weekend. Standards have then risen. Similar story with Highland equivalents (Aberdeenshire + NofS). In same period U21s football has shrunk to 3 dozen clubs in Strathclyde; and SPFL league to 9 teams including EK; IIRC.

Camelon leading 6 nil at the time, again a decision will need to be made. Game was abandoned due to Tynecastle refusing to continue the game, there was an injury that was attended to by the ambulance service but the time it took for them to respond was extremely quick and the player was removed all within 20 mins, the ref then proceeded to re-start and at this point Tynecastle 6 nil down advised the ref they no longer wanted to continue the game and still took it to the sub committee for a replay. Thankfully the boy only had a strain and it wasn't at all serious.

It started at 7:30pm this time instead of 8pm. Unfortunately it was abandoned after Kelty's goalkeeper suffered a broken leg early into 2nd half with the score tied at 1-1... couldn't make it up.

Kemlin Dan
There has been mention of at least 10 new 20s teams looking to come onboard next season. St Andrews Linlithgow Syngenta Glenrothes Strollers Glenrothes Juniors Bonnyrigg Arniston Eyemouth Penicuik Blackburn I am almost certain more will set up in this very high quality league
