Another Hamilton youngster goes on ! Burnley 5 mil bid for Mccarth

We have the highest rated academy in Scotland outside the OF and are bringing through the highest volume of youth.

We could've got a stack of money for the likes of McLean and McGinn but our financial position means that we do not have to sell.

This season alone, six players who came through our youth set-up have featured. Five started the first game of the season against Dundee. Also, Stevie Naismith is a far better player than any Hamilton have produced, so up ye.

I concur.

Who has the best youth set up - ACCIES BY A LONG SHOT!!!!

I'm not sure whether or not you're aware of this, but...James McArthur left Hamilton four years ago.

Not forgetting Gary Fraser at Partick came through Accies youth system.

Accies didn't receive much for McArthur as he had a short period left on his contract.

McCarthy was a once in a lifetime player , Accies are unlikely to ever find such a good young player.

It is all credit to Billy Reid for spotting the talent in James others couldn't see.
