Deefiant
Mark O'Hara is the white Viera. Exactly this.
BoobyMann
Was he not a mate of Gardiner? And essentially his 'stooge' as it were? This. Obviously some politics went on behind the scenes. Still though, doesn't read very well on the club's part.
Moo
A few class performances ysterday from Holt and O'Hara but O'Dea was pick of the bunch. Marshalled the defence yesterday and won basically every aerial encounter. No surprise to see Holt having a tremendous game when O'Dea does. Holt has came on leaps and bounds defensively since O'Dea has joined. O'Hara is a steal and reminds of Patrick Viera with his galloping runs box to box, link up play and passing. Any other player yesterday would never have kept the ball in for Loys opener never mind firing it across with power and pace.No surprise to see Rory Loy scoring two when giving the chance up top through the middle. Mental claims before the game saying he didn't deserve the chance. An inferior player to Hemmings yea but more than adequate striker for this level. Great start to the league after an abysmal start in the cup. Just never seen Dundee win at Celtic, Rangers and Hearts now of the current premiership teams.

A complete tit it would appear. Does he not know about our new training facilities that are about to be constructed and that United turned down??

One of the worst articles I've ever read.Having a pop at IMO the best playing surface in the country year in year out because of one freak occurrence...Bitterness pouring out of every paragraph.
Milnzo
Haha. Just came on to mention that Gannon article. Utterly laughable from start to finish. Glad to see the Record questioning the integrity of club owners/directors finances though. A brave new world.
drs
Dundee United train too far away from Dundee is an absolute snorter of a comment, they train in St Andrews ffs, its not as if they are training in Motherwell. Should also point out that St Andrews is approximately only 1 mile of a distance different from the distance between Parkhead and Lennoxtown, the Rangers train about 8 miles from their ground and when I worked in Glasgow Kilmarnock used to train over the road from my office. Didn't see and don't see people bleating for them to get back into the community, no one apart from those unemployed scum (and Sunday Mail hacks with a page to fill) who hang around outside training grounds in their shell suits hoping to see ra Cellic or ra Rangers gives a flying f**k where teams train. 1320Lichtie
What a fucking arsehole. Dundee to St Andrews is f**k all. From the city centre it's probably a 15 minute drive tops. United turned down Caird. A shared stadium is completely pointless and there's f**k all wrong with Dens parks pitch. What a c**t.

Ludo*1
We had our issues last season because we installed a brand new drainage system, but in general I thought our pitch was known as one of the best in Scotland.
DigOutYourSoul
Seems a very bitter article from someone I've never heard of.1) the plans/blueprints are out there - well not 'out there' but they've been drawn up and reviewed. 2) Nelms sees a new stadium as an investment, not just in Dundee FC, but in the city. The design allows the stadium to be converted into a major concert venue as well as conference centre and functions - bringing in much needed other income to the club and bringing events to Dundee which currently cannot be facilitated.3) it's expected to cost a 'cool' £15m. Some 'city of design' funding would be given if it meets certain criteria.

Even if he was a an Aberdonian they're as bad. Aberdeen is the centre of the universe and all good things should happen there. The thought of Dundee getting better horrifies those cuntos.

dundeefc1783
So this f**k nugget is saying that we should share a stadium because we share a city ...... Why don't you suggest that to the Glasgow sides you absolute p***k. If our owners decide they want to build a new stadium to take the club to the next level then that's their decision and I'm pretty sure a multi millionaire like Tim Keyes is a bit more business savvy than some p***k from some rag newspaper who would probably need a sat nav to find dens park.
