All things Dundee FC

Dundee don't need a ground any larger than 12 or 13000. The site proposed isn't great for access, there would have to be another access road built that leads onto the Liff or Coupar Angus road. The thing is with modern stadiums is that they could be utterly boring and basic with poor atmosphere, see McDairmid, Almondvale, Excelsior. The best grounds of that size in Western Europe are :

IK Start's Sør Arena: Capacity 14,000

Molde's Aker Stadion Capacity: 11,800

Kalmar FF's Guldfågeln Arena Capacity: 12,500

The site proposed could be accessed via the road from the back of the ice rink, the car park in front of the ice rink and the Kingsway.

It's likely they may run another road as you suggest but access is just fine.

Rotherhams stadium may be worth looking at.

Yeah just looked it up the ASSEAL New York Stadium. That would be perfect for Dundee with a safe terracing area thrown in. I'm amazed it only cost £20m to build.

Really hope if Dundee build a new stadium it isn't a Lego brick carbon copy of Rotherham etc. Be nice to see a new build with some originality. Putting some actual terracing in the new build would be incredible.

Would likely be safe standing incase we ever qualify for Europe again.

Was thinking that, if they do decide to include a bar, they might have to have restrictions when either of the bigot brothers are in town. Simplest solution would be to have a special Buckfast trough built that we can fill up and just leave them to it...

Try FC Bate Borisov and it's going on top of The Law, with Blue skin illumination etc etc.
