This Charming Man
Probably by his own admission even Cammy Kerr would say he's certainly not amongst the most accomplished defenders to ever grace Dens Park. However let's not undermine his actual achievement or bad mouth his commitment to our, or indeed his club, only wish him well in the future. All the best young man, we all move on.
DieDee
Really don't think Kerr has been given a chance under Doc. Only recall him starting against the top clubs (including the 1-0 over the Jambos). As far as I'm concerned, when he's played in RB or RWB he's been miles better than other options, particularly McGhee where I really don't understand Doc's favouritism. Not only this we still don't have anyone that is close to doing the job he can do with us. If we'd signed a right sided Beck then absolutely fair enough but we have this gaping hole that some of our squad are going to be shoe-horned into. Doc's done a really good job but this is one area he has made a monumental mess of, and continues to by the looks of it
Dee Bliss
Wishing Cammy all the best for the future. Never let us down. He would’ve had full time contracts all these years if he moved on and will for a number of years yet.

I'm of the opinion he was using that as a training session for fringe players. Maybe had no desire to have a cup to deal with on top of the rearranged fixtures. Either way an odd day at the office for the doc. Injuries.
Pens_Dark
What's the thoughts on Robinson? That team for me on Saturday was pretty telling of Docherty's feelings on him. Don't think he's got the required work rate for a Docherty team, I thought he would be the goal scoring partner to the likes of a Bakayoko or Main but Rudden has been playing ahead of him. With Rudden going out the door and Main (potentially Mellon too) coming in I think his days might be numbered.

I’d very seldomly play Rudden ahead of Robinson. Always thought with a run of games Robinson would do a job for us., still do. Think he’s just turned 22. I’d be offering him a deal. Just think there’s a player in there once he shakes off the injuries.

Injuries have played a part but I don't think he's stepped up to the physicality of the Premiership, I suppose you would only get that with an actual run of games mind you. Fifespud
The Sun’s take on the Rudden situ - ‘FORMER Rangers star Zak Rudden has been told he can leave Dundee by manager Tony Docherty, it's being claimed.’ lol.
D TOTAL
When the strike partnership was Main and Robinson with Reilly actually putting crosses in we actually started to look like scoring imo
mungo
Robinson hasn't been the same since he was recalled to Wimbledon the first time round last season. Was starting to look like a real prospect and coming into good form at that point but has been disappointing since . Rudden being played ahead of him for most of the season says it all. He is extremely limited but works hard and has a physical presence. Two things Robinson doesn't have. His days are numbered..........

I think we've needed a work horse beside Bakayoko because he's fairly limited in that regard and he was the only target man we had. Now that we've got Main in, I think we can play to more of Robinson's strengths. Whether it works out for him or not remains to be seen but I still think he's the most talented striker we have on our books. Lack of confidence, being played out of position and not being viewed as the main man anymore have probably all played a part in his downturn. I think he has a chance to have a successful second half of the season if we play more to his strengths and beside Main IMO.
