Not much going on just now, anybody heard what's happening with Jim Mac and Stephen McGinn?

Unfortunately it looks like they will be away. They clearly don't want to play for the club or are seeking a better offer. Shame really.

Jims been my favourite player for the last 3 years.. Always gave his all.

McGinn was a bit hit and miss. I was excited to hear we had signed him but he never really got going. I do still think with a proper preseason he would have been an asset.

Good luck to both the guys if their futures are away from Dens.

Id personally tell them to f**k off. If they clearly don't want to be here then off you pop. Mcginn wont get a better club than us, we saved his career and he done f**k all at us to earn another contract anyway. Shame about Jim but I know him and Hartley dont get on.

Just have to hope it's not his back as that'd be game over for him and the way the papers (Well Kennedy has been touting the story - it sounds like it's gonna be a nasty injury whatever it is).

Julen however the f**k you spell it.

Meggatt

Godzilla

If long term we need someone else in IMO.

Godzilla is a bomb scare and the other 2 are unproven. Konrad becomes our 1st pick centre half and although I like him he's not at that level.

Konrad to me fits the bill of a ball playing DCM who can throw in a tackle, pretty ideal to play next to Thomson actually IMO.

He's a starting centre back for me too, too many people focusing on the fact he isn't an aerial ball winner when that's the role of McPake in the pairing.

Would never want to see Konrad in midfield.

Wouldn't want him as a CM either, but as a DCM / Sweeper where he isn't expected to win headers and gets to put his tackles in and play the ball. It's a suited role for him as it hides his aerial weakness and accentuates his strengths at tackling/passing.
