This match has pretty much been a carbon copy of most of last season. Bugger all in the way of vision or composure in the middle of the park, so it either gets knocked down the sideline in the hope a wide guy gets on it, or bumped straight at Robinson. BukyOHare Posted July 30, 2023 Share Posted July 30, 2023 Tiffoney is definitely more effective out wide on the left, he'd combine well with Beck out there. For a squad with Robertson, Anderson and Cameron the midfield is lacking from what I've seen. Jury definitely still out on the Mexicans as well, granted it's 45 League Cup minutes on the TV. No urgency from a team that needs to win by 2 goals is strange as well. Legzdins holding onto the ball when it could've been returned to the opposition sums up the lethargy.
