Looking forward to my annual trip to Dundee next Saturday, several scoops on the choo choo, followed by several scoops in Dundees' grandest watering holes always lend towards a good away day, pretty safe to say we will chase the game all over the park as that seemed to work for us last week, probably end up a draw, then back down the hill, having more scoops, before train and, yes, more scoops!

Word of warning. If the stewards think you've had too much to drink, they kick the shite out of you in the toilets.

Very good signing if it happens. Bain, Hateley, Gomis, O'Dea and Holt as our defensive line is good imo.

A decent striker and we'll rise high above the diddies such as Hamilton, Kilmarnock and Inverness.

If he signs I'd like to see Kerr pushed up to right wing.....much better option than Williams.

Ah is he getting brought in to play at right back ? Didn't he play in midfield also?

I think he was brought into Motherwell as a midfielder but then converted to RB as he was better there. Have a suspicion he was alright at free-kicks too, but could be making that up.

Pleased with this signing though, hope Cammy still gets some game time as he's definitely improving and it'd be a shame to see him perma-benched.

Motherwell fans reckon the 'free kick specialist' tag came from the media after he scored direct from free kicks 3 times out of about 50 attempts.

What makes you think Kerr could play as a winger? His delivery has been poor, weak on the ball and isn't exactly full of skill. All Kerr is at the moment is a grafter. Mistakes at Peterhead time and time again and a horrible time against Sevco and Hamilton. Not writing him off -  he's still young and doesn't have to be the finished article yet, but at the moment he's not good enough to start for our first 11.

Williams has two assists in four and isn't the type of player who will go on mazies such as Stewart. He's technically good though and retains the ball ok. Williams any day of the week ahead of Kerr of course. Not forgetting his great ball to O'Hara which led to our opening goal at County aswell. Taking that into account he's played a huge part in goals within 3 games out of 4  but you'd rather stick a RB in Kerr there.

If Kerr wasn't a young Dundee lad he'd be getting worse treatment than Holt (who's been good so far this season). Kerr out the starting 11 for me.

Thank you.

Kerr has been used at right wing a couple of times in the past and looked very good.

Williams looks brutal, plays out in the right and only looks to go backwards bizarre for a winger, shits out a tackle and never looks like he wants the ball. I would like him to come good but IMO I would rather have Anyone out on the right than him.

Thank you too

I do agree that Cammy gets more lenient treatment from a lot of the supporters because of his Dundee leanings. But he's done a lot better this season than I expected at the start when I thought he'd really struggle. I wasn't at the Hamilton and Peterhead matches so can't include those but whenever I've seen him I think he's looked okay.

You're being harsh, IMO.

Really? I think he's done much worse than I expected. Teams just target him and he's fucked by half time. I'm not sure being a Dee is a good enough reason to be in the starting 11, which is why Hartley has signed someone better for that position.
Oor Cammy's time will come, I hope, but not quite yet.

Cammy Kerr is 21 now. If he's not ready now, is he gonna be? Think we may just have to accept he's a steady Championship standard FB and that's all he'll ever be.

Doesn't mean he doesn't have a spot in our squad but when will he be of the required standard if he's isn't at 21?
