Audaces Fortuna Juvat
Can't ever condone this sort of behaviour under any circumstances, but is the punishment a trifle harsh? https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/early-doors/footballer-banned-for-70-matches-for-sickening-assault-on-referee-112454781.html
tamthebam
Headbutting a ref would be a sine die ban in the Amateur ranks and we had a guy banned for about two years for decking one in the East of Scotland League.
The Ginger Prince
There are several factors which must be considered before the punishment, a trifle, can be deemed harsh: *How big is this trifle? *How much is he expected to eat and in what time frame? *Can he use his hands or will they be tied behind his back? *Is he known to strongly dislike traditional trifle? *IS it traditional trifle and does he have any food allergies? Personally, as far as punishments go, I can think of a lot worse than a trifle. ETA: Failure to eat trifle = 40 game ban. Nut. Just, nut.
hoopy1967
If it was Willie Collum the boy should be paraded around the streets of Raith on a golden unicorn. Just make him PM/President/whatever shitey job title is used, if we become independent
