Bookies Love Me
That's that sorted then. Next? Sorry. But, where in any of those examples does it say that prices will not be increased? At lot of that just seems to be PR business speak.
Banterous
These are customer service responses that involve impartiality and therefore there's no inclusion of what certain retail CEO's have said. The Yes campaign haven't responded with any hypothetical scenarios by saying what they would do to combat price rises. They should accuse and dodge the issues. Confidemus and people like him would believe anything that the Yes campaigners said. It's quite frightening how easily people can be manipulated and refuse to listen to anything other than what they want to hear
Venti
Why would anyone of them pick a side though? It's easy enough for them to lose customers to a rival normally, nevermind showing their political persuasion. Cookie-cutter answers from all of them. Romeo
If shops increase their prices people will stop shopping there and those that don't will pick up their customers. It's not fucking rocket science.
Banterous
Banterous telling us all how to think AGAIN..!!! You can think whatever way you like. I analyse results and responses and use evidence. Alex Salmond was asked a question and he didn't answer it and his conspiratorial web is now including multi-national corporations. That tells me what I need to NO

Banterous
You should be wearing a tinfoil hat.. Salmond said that big businesses were all in on some conspiracy of SCAREMONGERING. Ask him to give you an answer..........good luck with that
Ya Bezzer!
The supermarkets are here to suck vast amounts of money out of the local communities in which they are located and then get as much as it past the tax man through loopholes. Nothing will change in an independent Scotland. Every supermarket will continue to compete to win market share and the best way to do that is to keep prices down. The idea that capitalist forces that operate across the world will suddenly cease to exist in Scotland in the event of a Yes vote is laughable. Benjamin_Nevis
I take it that current price levels will remain fixed ad infinitum in the event of a No vote?
Hammyton
I for one would welcome the return of the high street. However, prices rise, prices fall its the way of the world. Dry winter/wet winter will have a lot more impact on supermarket prices than the way we vote.

Martin Gilbert has been the only individual who has backed Independence to be a success. So what you're saying is that the economists from Deutsche bank and their national counterparts have all got together to make things up? Are you unwell? Investigated for more Fraudulent activities by their bankers than any bank in Europe. You really need to check to see how many of your economists have a prison record first before putting them forward as credible sources.

Oh right so everyone who's contributed to the No debate is a "fraudster" or a "SCAREMONGERER"? It's not just international banks who have contributed a negative outcome. Weigh up what Salmond has done to alleviate concerns? I'll give you a clue.....he's accused and made allegations because he can't admit to the risks which are in fact outcomes...
