Best Day Ever to Be a Scot?

So as a result of a NO vote we will now actually have some money to redistribute to the poor, English people will not be attacked and crucified. I can feel proud to be both British and Scottish still and we all get to continue to watch the great show "Britains got talent" ( I know the last one is a highly divisive issue that brings people to fight on the streets and is tearing the fabric of the country apart, it might even lead to a civil war... :thumsup2 )

However one negative was the people attacking each other in George Square, which where sadly the Moronic elements of my own club (Celtic) attacking the Moronic element of the "enemy" club Rangers in a thoroughly moronic and embarrassing display of mutal bigotry and religious intolerance. This leads me to think the only good Rangers fans are ones that voted YES and the only non bigoted Celtic fans are the ones that Voted NO, the ones that voted Yes for rangers are clearly No anti Catholics/Irish and the ones that voted No for Celtic are Clearly either proud to be British or at least not anti British/pro IRA and all that other guff. So would you all agree that the Rangers fans who voted YES and the Celtic fans who Voted No all deserve credit for putting aside their bigotry and acting like mature, decent human beings?

Hmmmmm sadly I can't echo the sentiments of being proud to be British.

Britain isn't great anymore, we are an out dated, imperialist nation who reek havoc upon the world for financial gain. I voted yes and that was my main reason. It might sit well with being involved in the slaughtering of millions of innocent civilians...rather you than me

Forever Scottish...never, ever British

You joking? Go on your Facebook and look at all the scenes from in and around George Square and get back to me. I'm ashamed.

I already covered that but for me this was actually a victory for labour, for the working people through out the UK, and with our ties both through blood and culture with the rest of the UK. Being British is no longer about ur religion or ethnicity, its about the love of sport, certain tv programs, family ties, the NHS, Charities that help both Scots and English cancer patients that would only help the English if we went independent. The positives out weigh the disgrace that was George Square. Any one committing violence there should be sent on an Equality and Diversity training scheme and get 2 weeks in Jail.

'Great' Britain is a fucking joke. Referendum or not it shows that those at the top brainwash their citizens into believing their own fucked up agenda. I'm thoroughly ashamed of this so called 'democracy' we live in run by crooks who only care about themselves.

f**k your Britain OP. It's a fucking joke.

Not sure which part some one downvoted, they thought my punishment wasn't harsh enough, well always been a tough on crime tough on the causes type, preventing something happening in the first place better than dealing with its consequences after the fact. I have never been a bleeding liberal who would explain away all individual errors and wrongs as the fault of society but neither have I been a hang em and flog em that totally neglects the societal causes of some but not each individual case of crime

You know, at the tail end of your shitey post the above bit did kinda make me think a wee bit,

The simple answer though is that voting like mature, decent human beings shouldn't deserve any credit at all.

I was accused by a Rangers fan about half an hour ago of using the team I support as a reason to vote yes...ehhhhhhhhh

Totally. After seeing how this 'United' Kingdom works over the course of this referendum, I can quite comfortably say I fucking hate this country. I'm disgusted with the greed, manipulation of the masses and downright lies. It's a fucking joke and Scotland is pretty much now a political basket case.

Well fucking done Scotland. get fucked.

Is there a secret stash somewhere that magically appears after a No vote?

OP is surely the worst attempt at a troll ever.

I'm serious though I didn't believe the yes camp as the evidence suggest we will get more social deprivation with a yes vote not less. Ireland, Belgium, Holland almost always right wing governments especially Ireland with 2 right wing parties always passing it between themselves. There are less small countries choosing the Sweden/Danish route and more going down the right wing route with independence, on the other hand Britain has deliver us the NHS and many left wing governments plus we beat the Nazi, conquered half the world whilst keeping our exploitation of the native peoples we invaded to a minimum and unlike the other imperialist powers we built up their countries and provided them a platform for economic development and education. We ruled in a mutually beneficial way. Not only that think of all the great British and Scottish inventors. Think of TV programs like Doctor Who, Outnumbered etc. Think of the powerful financial services industry our union has built up and the pluralistic welcoming to immigrants society that is very tolerant of different races, religions and cultures. The commonwealth games, Cad buries and Curries. Football. Motor Racing. A great nightclubbing and drinking culture, the sexual revolution the anti sexual revolution to prevent the sexual revolution going to far and promoting incest, paedophila and bestiality. And finally the greatest of them all, only 1 dictator look how many France and Germany have had.

Yes, we already have the money to redistribute if we want to but if we had voted YES all the money would be lost servicing the debt, restructuring pensions, cutting public services, making new public services and institutions which costs a lot of money plus a lot of jobs would have went meaning their would be no dough to redistribute. We now need to just be brave and vote for Milliband for the UK Parliament and whoever leads Scottish Labour. We can get the left wing, socialist government we want if we just vote labour.
