Oh OK. We'll just need to run with the definition of six MPs not being a rump and 41 being a rump then shall we?

Six MPs is indeed a rump. As is 41, if tied to a party dying on its arse. Which Labour is, quite categorically.

The party with six MPs has more political representation and support at every other level of national politics, and about eight times the membership base from which to fund and conduct their campaigns. But then again, we were talking entirely about Labour, before you started scrambling around to cover your fail over English representation. So if you could get back to accounting for your mutually incompatible claims that'd be great.

Even though it will be the biggest party in parliament after the election in May? And will increase the number of seats it currently has. And will comfortably win the most seats in Scotland, England and Wales? I hate them too, but even I can see that you are talking out your arse here.

Labour quite clearly will not win the most seats in England, and none of the rest of your wishing upon a star claims stand up to scrutiny. Which is to expected, from the pundit who tipped that both the Euro would collapse and Mitt Romney would be elected President of the US, two full years ago.

You're a busted flush.

So Labour wont win the most seats in Scotland or Wales? And you think the tories will continue to be the biggest party in England? Okaaay.

Speaking of "busted flushes" as well as your complete failure to understand what rump is in political terms, lets not forget that you were claiming a yes win in the referendum. That has to be a sore one to take for you all the same <_<

Thing is, Reynard is correct here. 50% top rate brought in less tax than the 45% does. Cut it how you like, but I want the tax system to be about raising revenue rather than about making political points.

Capital Gains Tax was raised by this current government from 18% to 28% and is currently raising around HALF what it was at the lower rate.

How's Mitt Romney getting on the White House champ? Until you can vouch for that then you're not really in a position to make political predictions.

Oh and I don't believe I actually did predict a Yes win at all - try to read the forum properly the next time you slither off with your tail between your legs.

So... right about now then.

Clock twice a day syndrome in full effect now as "you predicted Yes would win the Referendum" being brought in as a Plan B whenever a Unionist is getting their arse handed to them. It's weak enough most of the time but when it gets brought out in exchanges with people who quite clearly didn't predict a Yes win, it's even more diddy behaviour.

Hardly.

I predicted not only a no win, but I was within margin for error too. I'm sure you'll be the first to congratulate me on being so very right once again?

So hows that "rump" Labour party doing with only 41 of the 59 seats currently available up here? And while I'm sure you muttered something about funding political activities for the SNP thanks to their vast new army of members. How many of the scheme goblins like yourself have tapped into their vast wealth in order to fund it? Or are you still relying on religious bigot Brian Soutar and the lucky lottery winners to fund this?

BTW do you still wear your blue YES cagoule to Morton games?

What esteemed company you keep on here Reynard. Does that embarrass you a lot or just a little bit - because there's no doubt it must be embarrassing.

It might be embarrassing if I gave a shit. I'll leave the beauty contest to folk that it matters to.

Funny how important it is with leftists that the "group is strong". Do individual opinions bother you?

Absolutely: Mitt Romney, the collapse of the Euro - your credibility on this forum is zero, and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

Gutted for you.

Really hard one to take. But I'll just have to manage.

The Euro crisis is actually ongoing just in case you managed to miss this.

BTW hows the socialist revolution getting on over in France? Hollande was the boy for that wasn't he? Anti austerity, going to spend his way out of trouble. He was your great white hope. <_<

How can the Euro crisis be "ongoing" when you predicted that Greece, Portugal et al. would drop out of the currency in 2012?

I'm afraid yet another wild attempt at deflection isn't going to salvage your credibility, now settling at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.

Pretty easily. As it's still ongoing. In other words in spite of a bit of can kicking, it's not gone away.

How many governments have been removed under Hollandes watch by the EU now then in the non ongoing crisis? France weren't even that involved two years ago. But they are now. You didn't see that coming, but I did. <_<

He was speaking about corporation tax cuts.

Don't worry - this is all a bit difficult for you. Stick to counting magic beans before going to market.

Yep. Thought as much. He didn't mention the SNPs policy once. Yet another fail from you.
