Questions like "Why are the political establishment trampling all over my right to free speech?" (Generally the type of question from some KKK sympathizer) There was no questions about free speech this week. What are you talking about? The Chlamydia Kid Posted November 12, 2016 Share Posted November 12, 2016 The way anyone who was in anyway sympathetic to Trump was silenced and drowned out by the audience and panel is an affront to democracy that happens too frequently these days. There is absolutely no tolerance or willingness to listen to any dissenters point of view- which clearly causes resentment in the majority of the population who feel they need to keep quiet in order to avoid being socially ostracised and subject to vitriol. It appears that the only place they feel secure in expressing their views is in the polling booth when they vote for Trump and Brexit. Perhaps if people were more willing to listen to, resepect and try and see where people are coming from instead of demanding submission to authoritarian liberalism then people would be less likely to vote for "f**k you" options like trump or Brexit. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
