NHS is strapped for cash and Farron  is too gutless to admit charging foreigners is the  pragmatic approach.

You really have no idea do you?

While I agree that foreign nationals should pay for elective treatment, the sums involved are miniscule compared to what brexit is going to do to the NHS

If he has no idea then I presume you do.

Why don't you outline exactly what Brexit will do to the NHS.

The NHS will get what it needs by dint of the electorate. Why don't you put your hand in your own pocket and pay for just one elective treatment for one patient. After all it would make the miniscule infinitesimal. No, thought so.

I suppose I'll get the usual thought free shit from socialist like, from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs, just as long as they're not British. Really in today's self serving selfish society. NAW, but you'll want others to pay to salve the socialist conscious.

My advice to you would be stop drinking in the morning.

If you don't live in the UK but in another time zone then just stop drinking!

I've done it before so a brief synopsis.

We will lose a lot of highly skilled staff/ find it more difficult to recruit in the future.

Most if not all of equipment scanners, x-ray machines etc. etc. are imported , most from the EU as are most of the drugs except some generic ones.

The UK ceased to to make these things in the 60's and 70's.

The ( fake ) £350 M on the side of the bus will be dwarfed by the increased costs to come.

I appreciate you are against political integration but imo we are going to lose big time because of brexit

Agree that Brexit will undoubtably impact (£) on our Health Service, but.....we (The UK) have paid out £6.2 Billion to EU countries alone since 2008, in Healthcare charges for U.K. Citizens.
We have claimed back just £405 Million over the same period. The deficit, £725 million per year (fag packet maths) surely cannot be considered a minuscule amount?

Where are you getting your figures from?

It was before this summer's vote, either the Mail or Telegraph, will see if I can find it.

ETA Here you go, it was from the Daily Telegraph, it quotes the source as 'government figures'

The UDA/UFF terrorists were responsible for more than 400 deaths. The vast majority of its victims were Irish Catholiccivilians,[10][11][12] killed at random, in what the group called retaliation for IRA actions or attacks on Protestants.[13][

A 1985 MI5 assessment reported that 85% of the UDA's "targeting material" came from the security forces.
