She's playing Glasgow on Jan 22nd Graham. Clashes with Frazey Ford so luckily shes also playing Edinburgh the following night. Going to see her in Edinburgh.

I'd read a review of her album but never got round to getting it. Mate sent me a YouTube link for a session she played. Instantly hooked.

I'd also highly recommend The Deslones. Brilliant self titled album.

Aye, I bought a ticket for Glasgow as soon as I listened to it. Her back catalogue is fantastic as well. I actually listened to it after seeing you post about it on the gigs thread and it reminded me to listen as I'd heard good things. Phenomenal.

I'll have a listen to The Deslones as well!

Czarface

Dr Yen Lo

ChillxWill

BBNG-Ghostface

Vince Staples

Sam Hill

Westside Gunn

Sean Price

Fabreeze Brothers

Jazz Spastiks.

Some excellent choices here - especially Dr Yen Lo (album of the year, by a mile), the Almighty $amhill and Czarface.

Really enjoyed the Maffew Ragazino '8 Million Stories' EP, as well as Joey Bada$$, Freddie Gibbs's 'Shadow Of A Doubt', the Madlib/MED/Blu collabo, Future's 'DS2', Jay Rock's '90059' and the Doppelgangaz stuff.

EDIT: Plus the new Pusha T set, which is brilliant.
