Following a cleared corner Docherty was unlucky not to score when he curled it over the keeper and a defender headed it against the bar and out. Spence (twice) and Benedictus both had good chances to score too. McDowell pulled off two really good point blank saves in the match to keep us in it though. Could have won it at the death if the officials had spotted the Livi basketballer! Simmy had to go off early in the second half and as much as he tries, Holmes isn't comfortable in that role and we lost our midfield shape in the last half hour or so. Ben Gordon was lucky not to be sent off tonight, got a deserved booking but could easily have had another on a couple of separate occasions. He must be due a suspension soon unfortunately. A draw away to anyone in this league is a good result regardless of where the teams are in the league. Livi now have a double header against Hearts. Would be good to go to Dumfries and get at least another point. Out the bottom two places at least (for now) but it does feel like an opportunity missed tonight.
