NotThePars
I’ve got Switcher and enjoying my second play through. It’s better on the higher difficulties as I feel I need to prep for the tougher battles and am more inclined to explore and search out good gear. The writing is so well done and stands the test of time. I was worried I’d feel about this the way I did about Bioshock Infinite when I replayed.
BallochSonsFan
I'm struggling for experience. Level 25 or there abouts. I've got enhanced Cat school year and I'm gathering allies for the fight at Morhen, but I'm running out of contracts or secondaries to do. I dislike Gwent and don't really want to bother with it. Done a lot of map markers but I suppose I can always wander more or find somewhere with a high respawn rate and kill harpies.
Busta Nut
I hate Gwent too. Probably cos I never took the time to fully understand it.
Stellaboz
Barely played it during my play through either, but the game itself is quite fun, been playing a little via GOG online.
BallochSonsFan
Wolf school gear is bugged on my current PS4 game. Won't let me enhance the basic gear. Almost certain I have all of the schematics.

Just go ahead and do that.

Its more the add ons - particularly blood and wine - and the superior armour/weapon sets. Superior has a level 29 minimum requirement.

BallochSonsFan
Fair enough. Did the heart of stone dlc and I'm up to level 37. Going to do blood and wine and complete the various school year before I finish the main game.

Overleveling is generally the problem in Witcher 3 if you're doing all your quests. But the main source of exp is the main quest by far. I think thats a bug on basically all platforms. You'll be missing one map marker so you can search for the piece you're missing online and find it manually. That's what I had to do on PC for that armour as well.

Over levelling isn't an issue just switch the setting on that means monsters scale their levelling. A must if you are doing expansion packs.
Stellaboz
Completed Witcher 1. Great fun, going to do some of the added adventures. Is Witcher 2 playable in the same way, with the mouse?

Almost putting me off giving it a proper play through.

Roll and Quen are your friends in W2.
SweeperDee
Played through the tutorial so far and it's utterly horrific control wise. Almost putting me off giving it a proper play through. Combat system was never the strong point, more so now it’s pretty dated and just not great; but, by not playing it through you’re missing out on some top-tier story and world building. The combat does become secondary almost, but it can be fun once you get into NG+ and start dealing more seriously with alchemy and builds.
