Grim O'Grady
Yes I do believe he's City's latest signing... here's a bit of cold gravy for to pour on the Spartans chips. Nae sour grapes fae moi, although an off-side goal given & a dubious penalty, won't be heard from my corner. For you dearest Tam lad. surely not!
Good work grim. Can't help but feel your guys would have had a better chance if they'd been allowed to cross the halfway line in the first half! Take it the wind was strong?

Grimbo only the one (allegedly) off-side goal and dubious penalty doesn't make up for 20 years of hurt but it's a start!
surely not!
Think your right back is playing the city player on for the first goal Grim. Not sure who it is but he seems a bit deeper than those in the middle.
makemgeordie
i booked train tickets in January to see this local lowland league derby game- thinking that it could be crucial as too these teams possibly beating Gretna 2008 to win the league, having attended this game , IMO the 1st goal did appear offside the penalty decision was given on reflection of the video the tackle was hard. but Ed City did hit the post twice , again the game spoilt by the wind, 2nd half Spartans were quick off the blocks and deployed 2 of their staff behind Ed City's goal to save any time wasted retrieving the ball against the wind, a couple of good saves nearly had Spartans back in the game , but indiscipline at decisions against them , and dissent shown on a throw in , ended with Spartans reduced to 10 men , the task after that was too much for the endless trying by the Spartan forwards. Good luck to Edinburgh City in playoffs but will need to up their game against Brora to get a favourable result.
