andylivi1 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Share Posted April 22, 2015 Comfortable win for Hibs tonight, may have been different if we could've held of for longer than a minute and we had 11 men on the park but the game was ended as soon as we went down to 10 men. Can't complain with the red, silly tackle by Cole, looks like we got away with one with a handball missed in the box too, but the ref did make amends for giving the penalty in the 2nd half for a good tackle, good save from Dj. Was like a training game in the end but as I had said in this thread earlier, this was a game that we didn't target for points, anything tonight would've been a bonus. Biggest disappointment tonight is we now lose Cole for Saturday, hopefully Talbot and Keaghan will be back though because we missed them both massively. Well done Hibs, comfortable win. If Cole's hand ball was intentional - he didn't move his hand towards the ball and it was down by his side - then he should be booked. Highly debatable whether he did any. If so it was definitely in box and should have been a pen. Jacobs wins ball cleanly and he gives penalty. However as he gives penalty Jacobs should have been yellow carded at least. It must be a foul that merits a yellow card no matter where it is on the park.Also even if you make contact with the ball but also come thru the opposition player. This can be a penalty. No worries, we all know how Saturday's going to go - 2/3-0 win for youse against us, and for Hertz against Cowden, while Raith roll over and get their tummies tickled against Livi.
