The number of Kiwis of British decent clearly reflected in the poll, Cultural & Historical ties still holding strong, over 160 years since the NZ Constitution Act. I would be interested in the Maori percentage, it's going to be higher than folk would think, mainly due to the Treaty. If you spent any time down there you would realise the vote was bugger all to do with the actual flag and NZ's link to the UK. But hey, salute the flag and GDNZ and all that....
