tambothejambo
Gartcairn 1 Forth 3 A run of 3 away wins against East Kilbride, Ashfield and Gartcairn have moved Forth into a decent position just outside the promotion positions with games in hand. Gartcairn had slightly the better of the first half in a fiesty encounter. Game turned when Martin Harty was sent off and a soft penalty awarded for a trip on Martin Hannoway converted by Wullie McLaren. The outstanding McLaren went on to grab a hat trick with Gartcairn scoring with a penalty of their own. Great to catch up with Harty, Basher and Yami all great guys and can see Gartcairn still getting in the promotion hunt. As for Forth one game at a time and see where it takes us !! bc57
Lanark stopped the rot today by taking a point. Neither team particularly threatening with the keepers not being asked to make saves worthy of the name. Lanark carved Perthshire defence open in first half with a lovely move that Scott Falconer put just wide of the post. Perthshire thumped the post in the second half. Perthshire played the last 15 minutes with 10 men after a straight red, presumably for foul and abusive language. There didn't seem to be much argument put up when the card was brandished. The lad Dunn had by far and away his best game for Lanark today with some nice touches and hitting some lovely balls from left back. Wee McCrum was entertaining but Lanark did not have a cutting edge. The ever versatile Ryan Cherrie was back between the sticks for us today having played more games at left back. Pitch tiny, but in good condition. Good pie.
wishyman
Thistle with a second impressive win in a row. Can they get promotion? Mon the jags! It wasn't all that long ago the pundits on here had all but written you off. Lose a game and have a game postponed and you can drop four places in this league. Getting more cut throat by the week. ????
tambothejambo
Thistle with a second impressive win in a row. Can they get promotion? Mon the jags! Can defo get promoted forth played them couple of weeks back and they were excellent. A run of two or three wins in a row shoots you right up there. Great thing about the league is that anybody can beat anybody so a wee winning streak and you'll be up there no problem at all.
redstarbenhar
A bit of hypothetical fun showing league table of potential points teams could get to by end of season : Cambuslang 52 Forth 51 Lanark 47 Benburb 47 Newmains 47 EK 46 Port 45 Gartcairn 44 Perthshire 42 RA 41 VOL 32 Ashfield 32 Shows any of the top 9 teams could go up with a run of victories. thelangonline
Taking nothing away from EK who were deserved winners on Saturday but we were poor. We could have been on the end of a much heavier score line. Matt Lynch made some cracking saves. Just need to pick ourselves up and get prepared for the next game. Gonna Wanarurs
Benburb v Ashfield Home Cambuslang v Gartcairn Draw Forth v Newmains Home Port Glasgow v Perthshire Home Lanark v Royal Albert Home East Kilbride v Vale of Leven Home Crucial games again this week, got to think Lanark will get back to winning ways and East Kilbride could keep their run going, Forth has a tricky game against Newmains that I fancy they may sneak same with Benburb over Ashfield. The other 2 games I feel are too close to call with maybe home advantage allowing the Port to sneak it and a draw for me with Cambuslang and Gartcairn. What's everyone's views for the weekend

Gonna Wanarurs
I'm looking forward to the game tomorrow, it'll be hard for Gartcairn with the players they have out injured but you never know Who's out for Gartcairn, take it the Hitman will be suspended after the red against Forth

bc57
Lanark without a win in their last 8 games. A win today is vital, for confidence as much as anything else.
Gartcairn Army
Camby 1 v 4 Gartcairn Should have been a lot more but won't complain. Camby should have had a pen but I think even they will agree we were miles ahead of them today and looked a hungrier team. This league is wide open and in my opinion anyone can win the league or get promoted with 7 or 8 games still to play. Big thanks to the Camby for hospitality and what is a fantastic club

Mon The Port
Port 3-0 Glasgow Perthshire Even first half, much better from the port in the second, great 3 points.
bc57
Lanark 8 ( Eight) RA 1 Played well. Scored some cracking goals. Our goal difference could yet be worth a point to us come the season end. The head to heads are going to be proverbial 6 pointers. No Alan McCrum today who was working. Our most recent signings are all making their mark now. Gonna Wanarurs
After all the games this weekend it's still any 3 from 7 teams for promotion, it's just a cracking season and could yet be a hell of a run in Some really good sides but still think Lanark, Cambuslang and Gartcairn will edge the promotion places
