The FBI count the injured now, used to be a minimum of 4 dead victims. Merca's gone soft.

MEADOWXI
5 hours ago, Hillonearth said: Bit of context called for here; we're now up to 134 pages in this thread which catalogues incidents of mass gun crime in a country that steadfastly refuses to do anything to ameliorate the problem it seems everybody in the world who doesn't live there can clearly see it has, instead offering meaningless "thoughts and prayers" for the victims and their families as verbal sticking plasters like they're going to help. Then it happens again. And again. And no c**t ever does anything about it but dish out more facile "thoughts and prayers" I doubt anyone's taking the piss out of anyone affected - the real target is the country and the people who live there who as long as they're allowed to own guns seem content for something similar to happen every couple of weeks ad infinitum. It has got to the point the only thing left to do is make jokes. Other countries that have incidents like this appearto at least try and deal with it, and take action so that the much used 'never again' is at least tried. The US seems to just shrug their shoulders and say what can we do, and only the US cannot elect politicians to provide the answers, as the system favours big business lobbying and inaction for the sake of profit. If they cannot be bothered to do anything about the insanity all that is left is to point and laugh

Hampden Diehard
There's so many of them who want the right to bear arms, as they say, just let them get on with it. Every fuckwit in the States(and there's a lot of them) with a grudge can buy something that can massacre a dozen folk before Billy the Kid could draw his gun. What do they expect?
Detournement
It's not really any fuckwit in America though. It's continually men with learning difficulties who are usually on anti psychotic drugs.

At the risk of being crass, would men with learning difficulties on anti-psychotic drugs not come under the category of 'any fuckwit' more than most?
