Canberra Raiders lost at home to the NQ Cowboys 20-21 with Jonathan Thurston scoring the winner from a field goal bang on the siren. The Raiders had levelled with a penalty a couple of minutes before the end. The kick Thurston scored from was his third attempt in the play. Cowboys have now won 11 in a row. Raiders dismal home form continues with only 1 win this season. Cronulla Sharks bet the Newcastle Knights 30-28 in Newcastle on Saturday twice coming back from being 10 points behind. Yesterday in Melbourne the Storm lost to the Brisbane Broncos 12-14 but the Storm were without Cronk and Slater but from what I saw the Broncos desreved the win.
