Brummie Clyde
Quite a good season for Karlsruhe too, after losing our first 3-4 games.Beat quite a few of the top teams, including our last match against Holstein Kiel. Think we beat them after they knocked Bayern out of the Pokal too.
GNU_Linux
Can't wait until we get the Hamburg & Altonaer 1893 derby in the 2nd tier tbh.

GNU_Linux
Brings an end to Bremen's 40 year tenure in the top flight. FC Köln take the relegation playoff. At the other end of the table Rassballen, Dortmund & Wolfsburg take the Champions League places. Frankfurt & Leverkusen the Europa spots & plucky wee Union the Conference spot. Will be Union's second ever outing in Europe with their only prior being the 01-02 UEFA Cup. Down in the 2.Bundesliga Bochum return to the top flight after just over a decade away & Holstein Kiel come up for the first ever time in the Bundesliga era. Greuther Fürth take the playoff spot. Hamburg to the amusement of everyone remain in purgatory. Würzburger Kickers are the only team down thus far. Going into tomorrow's last match day Eintracht Braunschweig occupy the other relegation spot & VfL Osnabrück the playoff spot. Both teams can saves themselves entirely while SV Sandhausen can be dragged into either & Jahn Regensburg at worst the playoff spot. The 3.Liga is done & dusted with Dynamo Dresden & Hansa Rostock going up automatically & Ingolstadt the playoff spot. I'm sure games between St. Pauli & Rostock will be completely incident free. Going the other way to regional football are Unterhaching, Lübeck, Bayern München II & Meppen. Replacing these four will be Nordost winners Viktoria 1889 Berlin, West winners Rot-Weiss Essen, & Südwest winners Freiburg II. The last spot will be determined by a playoff between Nord club TSV Havelse & the winner of the 3 team Bayern championship playoff ongoing between FC Schweinfurt, SpVgg Bayreuth & Viktoria Aschaffenburg . TSV Havelse actually came third but the two clubs above them in the Nord Werder Bremen II & Weiche Flensburg opted not to apply for a 3.Liga license.

I think any of the three teams could still win the league or finish as low as 3rd. Only thing that is certain is that HSV will not be going up. Marc Schnatterer plays his last game for Heidenheim tomorrow against his old club, Karlsruhe. Spent 13 years at FCH - not clear if he will retire or play on. He's already been guaranteed a job with FCH when he retires.
Stellaboz
Aye it's a 3 way battle, Bochum in the favourite seat right now. Exciting times tomorrow!
Brummie Clyde
1860 Munich needed a win to clinch the promotion playoff spot and had a bloke sent off after 9 minutes. Ended up losing 2-1.So still in the 3rd tier along with Kaiserslautern.Happy with Karlsruhe's season wherever we finish now.
Ginaro
Manuel Gräfe forced to retire at 47, shame as he seemed like one of the better refs and with a laid back style, should've been allowed to keep going if he's fit enough. Haaland swapped shirts with him at the weekend and there's a funny twitter thread as well. Edited May 24, 2021 by Ginaro

German Jag
Another goal for Köln, so Kiel require 3 goals to go through.
Stellaboz
I've never seen Köln create so many chances in one game before.Andersson clearly needs replaced next year, so so wasteful.

German Jag
A 3-1 win for VfL Osnabrück in the 2nd leg of the BL2/Dritte Liga play-off. 2-0 up after 20 minutes, but Ingolstadt's away goal after half an hour meant that 3 goals were still required to go through. 3-1 in the 81st minute, but despite a bit of huffing & puffing was not to be & FC Ingolstadt return to BL2 after having been relegated in the 2018/19 season.
Robin.Hood
Quite a sad story to read . Glad it's out in the open. I presume this is quite a common thing for players coming to Europe from Africa

Hopefully he and his family are ok now and something can be done to make sure his old club in Congo get a few quid.
