BL and 2.BL fixtures out up until the start of December.

St Pauli v H96 on a Friday night is really tempting me on my way to Georgia for the Scotland game next month.

Took their time announcing the fixtures, very fan unfriendly with it being just over 3 weeks till game day 11 in the BL2.

Will be looking to go to the St. Pauli game as well.

Let me know if you want for me to try and get a ticket in the away end. The 3000 that H96 gets for the away end sell out in about 2 and a half minutes.

Anyone know of any bars in Hamburg which will be showing Norway v Spain on Sunday?

Qualifiers are on DAZN in Germany, which every sports/Irish bar has, since it‘s also the platform that shows the Champions League games.

Ask your hotel for a recommendation. Most places will stick it on for you, unless they‘re focusing on the rugby. France v. S. Africa starts at 9.

England against Italy at the same time, might make it a bit trickier. Both games are on the DAZN numbered channels which are also inbuilt into the SKY box which bars have.

A pyro heavy Friday evening as H96 got their 3rd home win in a row, winning 2-1 against FC Magdeburg.

H96 very much the dominant side, taking a deserved lead in the 11th minute through Enzo Leopold. Game should‘ve been done & dusted by half-time, but failed to convert a good half dozen chances (chances which suspended Håvard Nielsen would normally stick away).

2nd half FCM out looking for the equaliser, and eventually got one with a peach of a shot from Baris Atik. 4 minutes later, handball penalty at the other end which Cedric Teuchert scored.

Result moves H96 upto 2nd, that‘ll no doubt change wirh the Saturday/Sunday results.

Harry Kane's endeavour to win a domestic trophy now rests solely on the league title, as Bayern got beat 2-1 away to 3rd division Saarbrücken in the DFB-Pokal . Saarbrücken's winner was in the 90 + 6th minute, so limbs / scenes etc. all round.

Cup holders Leipzig got knocked out last night away to Wolfsburg.

Draw for the 1/4 finals takes place on Sunday afternoon.

Lower Saxony derby on Sunday as H96 hosted bottom of the table Eintracht Braunschweig.

The usual massive police operation in place (1st photo was ca. half an hour before kick-off).  H96 the better side, taking a deserved early lead in the 12th minute courtesy of Fabain Kunze. Marcel Hastelberg, signed in the summer from RB Leipzig, converted a penalty just before half-time.

Braunschweig down to 10 men, after their wee arse of a captain, Jannis Nikolaou, received a 2nd yellow. Thereafter, only going to be one winner.

H96 had a goal VARd just before the final whistle.

The win moves H96 upto 3rd, 5 points behind top of the table St. Pauli who are the next openent in Hamburg on Friday night (unfortunately couldn't get a ticket).

2nd placed Hamburg take on 5th placed Kiel on the Saturday. Fortuna Düsseldorf, now in 4th,  who surprisingly lost at home to Wehen Wiesbaden, travel to 6th placed Greuther Fürth.

Not Bundesliga - 3. Liga - but I spot a Scotland flag in the Duisberg v Essen crowd. Watching the Das Erste highlights. It looks like PTFC on it.

Will anyone here claim? I, not a right-wing cee, enjoyed a 3-3 draw between BFC Dynamo and Viktoria Berlin. Now doing some left-wing things.

There were a few Jags fans over according to Facebook.

Not yet the quarters, but the round before. Sunday's draw threw up the following fixtures.

VfB Stuttgart – Borussia Dortmund
1. FC Saarbrücken – Eintracht Frankfurt
Borussia Mönchengladbach – VfL Wolfsburg
Hertha BSC Berlin – Hamburger SV
FC 08 Homburg – St. Pauli
Bayer Leverkusen – SC Paderborn
1. FC Kaiserslautern – 1. FC Nürnberg
1. FC Magdeburg – Fortuna Düsseldorf

With a further 2 BL teams due to be eliminated, then a maximum of 4 top division teams in the 1/4 finals.

The above games due to be played on 5 / 6th December.
