Steve McQueen
Rumours that Bayern are going to announce Arsene Wenger as their new head coch today. Seems a bit strange if true?
Waspy
Second visit to Hertha for myself this weekend. Should have been 3 points but for an absolute thunderbolt from Freiburg. Unbelievable drama at the end with the referee awarding a penalty then deciding to go to VAR only to overturn his original decision.

German Jag
An enjoyable game in Leverkusen, although their last kick of the game 94th minute equalizer was a kick in the baws!VAR penalty for Leverkusen in the 6th minute, which Esser saved. Muslija scored a peach of a free kick to give H96 a deserved lead. US striker Bobby Wood had a goal disallowed, from which Leverkusen ran up the park and got the equalizer. A well struck volley from Felipe restored the lead. Felipe then got himself sent-off 3 minutes later. A last half hour of parking the bus and time-wasting ensued with the time-wasting in vain as Leverkusen got the equalizer to end 2-2!Next up, home to Augsburg.
Stellaboz
Trying to get in a Fortuna Köln game before year end. On the off chance anyone will be going to any, I'm up for a beer or two,?!
Waspy
Can't see the away section because of the sunshine, were there many Freiburg fans there? Not enough to fill the entire away section but there was a lot more than I excepted. Both clubs fans had some sort of banner display in protest about playing on a Sunday over the past years. 53000 was the attendance

Went to Wattenscheid v Rot Weiss Essen the following day (finished 0-2). Very different but enjoyable too.

How many in attendance at the Wattenscheid - RWE game?

Allan Jacobsen
I just read that in his first 106 minutes in the Bundesliga (126 if you include the rest of the first half before he got subbed off at half-time against Stuttgart), Paco Alcacer has scored 7 goals. Clinical. Edited October 25, 2018 by Allan Jacobsen "against Stuttgart"
Waspy
Google has given me a list of Fixtures for the the rest of season and I'm wondering how accurate the list is? I'm looking ahead for the Hertha vs Dortmund game which it says will take place on the weekend of the 16/3. When the league confirms the fixtures do they just decided what day over that weekend the game will take place e.g. The Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday?

Am Featha Taigh Nan Clach
@German JagI'm sure you've posted a list of when the blocks of fixture times were announce last year. Could you repost?Going to Cologne on weekend 8-10th Feb. Were these announced just after last 16 CL/EL draw in mid Dec?

Will imagine it'll be the same this year, especially seeing as the dates and times for the last 3 rounds before Christmas have still to be set.
German Jag
A more than shite 4 days for H96, losing 1-2 on Saturday in a turgid game (Bebou‘s consolation goal aside) against Augsburg. Followed up this evening with a 0-2 defeat at home to Wolfsburg in the DFB Pokal. Never really in the game with Wolfsburg going 1 up after 20 minutes. H96 huffed & puffed their way through the rest of the game without any clear-cut chances. Game ended as Wolfsburg got their 2nd on the stroke of full time. Good away crowd, although their Halloween outfits looked a bit KKK!
Ira Gaines
I think never really in the game is a bit harsh. Especially for a spell in the first half when they had a couple of chances, one of which really should have been in the net.

Also, tomorrow is a holiday in Lower Saxony and the amount of drunk H96 ‘day-trippers’ on the train is doing my nut in.
Jarballs
Some finish to make it 2-0 to Mainz against a surprisingly poor Werder Bremen side. First German game I've seen this season, I'd have thought the league positions were swapped.
Jarballs
Shit. Jinxed it, Mainz are my German team, potential bed-shitting is giving me the fear.
German Jag
Another game day another defeat, as H96 went down 3-1 to Schalke.Score flatters Schalke a little as H96 were definitely worth a point.Went 1 behind due to a brainfart by Thomas Scheuner in goal giving a needless “penalty”.Sub Weydandt pinged in a header after some good work on the flank by Bebou. From the resulting kick-off Schalke ran up the park and scored straight away thanks to some horrendous defending/lack of concentration. Uth slotted home the 3rd for Schalke in the 85th minute to seal the points. Was late getting in, so ended up in the cramped away end stuck behind the Ultras section. Realise that groups like these generate atmosphere but don’t understand the point of doing a 5 hour round trip to wave or stand behind a flag! Also a good few dickheads in the section behind throwing beer about whenever a goal went in!Next up under the floodlights on Friday at home to Wolfsburg. Another defeat and manager Andre Breitenreiter’s position will be called in to question.
