Cruising 4-0 at half time with a makeshift defence, thought we'd come out in the 2nd and bang in a few more. Johnstone got themselves back into it and it was 4-3 soon after. Mick Keenan was sent off for a headbutt, was the correct call. Disgraceful behaviour from him. Gary Mcann managed to make it 5-3 but Johnstone got one back with 10 minutes to go. Spent the last 5 minutes playing down time in the corner. Should never have got to that. Away to Cumnock in the next round. Massive game at home to Peasy next week, must win game obviously. Cruising 4-0 at half time with a makeshift defence No offence, but how could they (Shepherd, Girvan, Twaddle, Rutkiewizc, Halliday) be classed as a makeshift defence? Maybe, that was just the managers choice to go with that back 5. Certainly not good to be hanging on against lower league opposition after cruising at half time, with obviously discipline being an issue. Whether it tends to happen or not, there is no place in any level of football for a "headbutt"! Obviously not at the game today (due to recent club developments) but were we happy playing with no recognised strikers today, when everyone was so critical of Stevie Rankin playing 1 up front?
