glensmad Posted July 18, 2015 Author Share Posted July 18, 2015 Rutherglen Glencairn 1 (Tait) Hurlford United 3 (Thomson, Ross Robertson 2 (1 penalty)). Pictures and full match report to follow. Decent exercise for both teams. Hurlford looked much sharper early on and capitalised on two errors to get two goals inside the opening 20 minutes. Glens settled into their system with five new players after that and came back into it, scoring a really good team goal early in the second half. Hurlford secured the win with almost the last kick of the ball, a very harsh penalty award for accidental handball.
