Got to be happy with a point at Windsor, especially a last gasp equaliser.......The Glens have been so inconsistent so far this year, wouldn't fancy us doing much if Curtis Allen got injured.

Sadly a fan passed away at the match yesterday, to be fair the fans have been praised for their assistance to the medical staff.

Healy being linked heavily with the Linfield job ,

So the League Cup - maybe AFJ will want to avert his gaze.

The Crues and the Blues both beaten at home by "minnows", Crusaders going out 4-3 to Institute after extra time - 3 penalties and an own goal by the Crues' keeper in this game -, Ballinamallard managing it in the 90 minutes at Windsor with new boss David Healy looking on.

Coleraine and Cliftonville require penalties to see off H&W Welders and Dungannon Swifts respectively, Coleraine at home, Cliftonville away.

Portadown also on the wrong end of a shock, going out at Shamrock Park 2-1 to Warrenpoint Town, after being in front, Town's winner coming from the spot.

Glentoran beat Carrick Rangers 3-1 at the Oval - Carrick missed a penalty -, Ballymena win 1-0 at the Limavady showgrounds and Ards win the non-league tie, beating Glenavon's conquerors, Annagh United, 2-0.

Despite all these penalties, nobody apperas to have been red carded.

That's quite a few big names gone out,

Have to be hopeful of a final at least ,

Aye, only 4 "names" left really, Coleraine, Ballymena, Glentoran and Cliftonville.

So, a Ballinamallard v Warrenpoint final, then!

First of all - Eddie Patterson sacked - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34560500

Crusaders reign at the top didn't last long as it took a late goal to rescue a point at Ferney Park against Ballinamallard, 1-1. Meanwhile, Warrenpoint couldn't repeat their League Cup heroics, as Linfield win 3-0 at Warrenpoint. Town missed a penalty (hitting the crossbar, that would have been the equaliser), before Linfield clinched things with 2 in the last 9 minutes, the 2nd a penalty, Dane red carded for the home side.

Cliftonville eventually see off Portadown 3-0 at Solitude, the last one a penalty.

Coleraine edge out Dungannon Swifts 1-0 at the Showgrounds, while Glenavon come from behind at Mourneview to beat Ballymena 3-1 with 2 goals in the last 7 minutes.

Glentoran score twice in the last 7 minutes to defeat Carrick Rangers at The Oval for the second time this week, but it doesn't save Eddie Patterson from the sack, as linked above.

Linfield top with 29 points, 2 in front of the Crues who are on 27. 1 back in third are Cliftonville on 26, and Coleraine are fourth with 25. Glenavon are fifth on 21, 4 points in front of sixth placed Portadown.

Bottom half: Glentoran are seventh on 16, a 5 point gap to Ballymena United, who are 2 points in front of Ballinamallard and Carrick, both on 9. Dungannon Swifts on 8 and Warrenpoint Town on 4 are the bottom two.

Linfield need a late goal to equalise Carrick's penalty to rescue a point at Windsor, while Crusaders score after 3 minutes and win 1-0 against Glenavon at Seaview.

Coleraine and Cliftonville draw 0-0 at The Showgrounds, while Glentoran score a late, late goal at Warrenpoint to win 1-0.

Ballinamallard score a great 3-0 win at Shamrock Park as Portadown's season starts to go awry, and 10 man Ballymena beat Dungannon Swifts with a last minute goal at The Warden Street Showgrounds.

Tight at the top, Linfield and Crusaders both on 30 points with +22 goal difference, Cliftonville third with 26 points and Coleraine fourth on 25. A 5 point gap to Glenavon in fifth and Glentoran are in sixth place with 19 points.

Bottom half: Portadown are seventh with 17 points, 3 in front of Ballymena in eighth, with Ballinamallard on 12 points and Carrick with 10.

Dungannon still stuck on 8 points and Warrenpoint still bottom 4 points further back.

If you check BBC NI Final Score you will find Jackie in all his glory, in fact he usually does the main game.

Have been in his company several times and he can't half talk. Lovely man though, and a league title winner with Crusaders, although he supports Ballymena United.
