HoppingMad
Was at the game yesterday which I thought as a neutral was excellent entertaining game. The referee though had a poor game, the sending off of a Stirling player looked a bad call. Adding to this he seemed to miss or totally ignore a deliberate hand ball in the run up to the third Stirling goal. Another thing that was brought to my attention by listening to Edinburgh players and supporters, there was a ball boy on the far side but at 2-1 to Stirling the 'spare ball' disappeared and ball boy was sat in the stand, but the ball was kicked into the stand the ball boy retrieved it slowly then threw ball away from the waiting Edinburgh player, taking gamesmanship to extremes I think. Is this common in the Lowland league. tamthebam
some would say we do it but its just because the two "ball boys" that usually stand behind the goals at Meadowbank are auld, fat and incompetent. one of them is me of course...
