scotfree
Have you used iTunes to restore it?Also, try resetting it by holding down the centre circle button plus the play/pause button for 5 seconds. Hope that helps.

Mark Connolly
No receipt? Presumably a price at which you couldn't turn it down?

sergie's no1 fan
Get something that can fit into the hole where the ear phones go in and give it a clean out, like a sewing needle or a pin. Fluff can prevent the ear phone cord connecting to the ipod. Happens to phones as well in the charging bit. Your serial number will show up on itunes, take it in store and have it looked at if its still not working. I think every apple product has a 12 month warranty.
