Our weakened team, with various second stringers featuring plus a manager who was to get his jotters little over a fortnight later, were able to rope-a-dope LTHV to a 0-0 draw before dispatching them on penalties to reclaim the prestigious East of Scotland Cup. Montrose were looking at a grand opportunity to reach the Last 32 of the Scottish Cup but ended-up losing after being at it for 210 minutes. Ooft...
