101 Posted June 9, 2021 Share Posted June 9, 2021 It looks like MPs are proposing a raising of the legal age of smoking to 21. In a bid to make the UK smoke free by 2030. I think this is a complete waste of their time I don't know anyone who waited until they were 18 and then started smoking like you might buy a lottery ticket on your 16th birthday. It is something that needs looking at but I would have thought the cost was prohibitive to more 18 year olds.
