HTG
West Region have left it up to the clubs Pretty much sums up the difference between juniors and non league seniors. No leadership in Junior football.
Sancho Panza
Its in the rules, easy enough to propose a change but nobody seems bothered to be honest.
Highlighter
I don't feel there should be fixtures on the 26th but can't see anything wrong with the 2nd having games.
maicoman
The clubs left in the Scottish need to think about playing on these dates in case their game on the 9th gets postponed as the Scottish is the following week It could be a long time without a competitive game Sundays would be the day to play in the holidays

HTG
It's going to take clubs walking away and into a more progressive set up. Which both the LL and HFL most assuredly are.

HTG
Does that mean ur leaving us? Not necessarily. I'm saying some will leave. It's an alternative to waiting for a generation.
kabjo
one of the.largest growds at this level in northern Ireland is the steele n son's cup final played on Xmas morning with a great family atmosphere so a Xmas morning game us a great idea leaving players and fans to enjoy the rest of the festive season. Give the boys a break!!!
Sancho Panza
Sunday 3rd Jan would be ideal for a full fixture card, with some teams having only played 6 league games we cant afford just to wipe out two full weekends

Bestjuniorfan
Remember people this is junior football not professional. Fair enough if you are getting paid thousands of pounds a week like pros. Junior players deserve a 2 week break and spend time with family's. It's ok the support wanting fixtures but we are not the ones playing the games. Meddaheroes1973
Non League semi-professional leagues in England are playing Sat 26/12, Mon 28/12 and Sat 02/01. Players in the higher tiers of our 'semi-professional' game are payed for a minimum of 40 weeks per season, will those who want a two week break to spend time with their families forego their wages for these weeks? This is not amateur football or Sunday pub football. If players don't want to play at times when punters are willing to pay to watch them then they should drop down a grade or 2. Barcelona
Come on the boys give a lot of time and energy up for their teams so let them enjoy the holidays off with their families . To me it's a pointless argument because the weather will take care of most of the games anyway from start of December right through so should start earlier and have a complete shut down for a month so people can make other plans rather than waiting all week when the weather will wipe out 99 percent of games , a wee bit of common sense please

Players in SPFL1, SPFL2, HL & LL are not pros at all, and yet they are playing.
