We specifically asked them this morning before we confirmed with the bus company as we suspected the game would be called however were informed all was well. Must have been the micro climate that they have in petershill.

Petershill is in Springburn which is the highest point in Glasgow.

Don't blame Petershill, blame every other chunt.

Very frustrating to get up here with a bus full of supporters to be told there wasn't much chance of it going ahead by a Peasy official. And then the ref took 2 minutes to decide it was off.

Nobody can do anything about the weather of course, but a wasted journey (and considerable cost involved) for us all was very, very preventable.

Refs can't call games off due to the wind unless, very close to kick off. Wind could drop if called off too early. Medda v Clydebank was an example a couple of years ago. Test is whether or not ball can stay still in wind. Otherwise goal kicks, corners, pens etc can't be taken.
