How anyone can say these lads are nothing to do with linthithgow is nonsense , they certainly weren't there because Forfar were playing , they were there following the Rose . Day trippers or not

Was it a Forfar firm supplying the electricity? Probably not, so you're in the clear.

It was . Not dangerous though it adds atmosphere

Agree - as much as I personally would like to write of their actions as not real Rose fans. That would be wrong - sadly such occasions can attract people who don't regularly attend that however isn't a reason to say they aren't Rose Fans. (Thankfully the first game is more reflective of Linlithgow Rose and their fans). In recent years we have been very successful in attracting a whole family element to our support and that is a positive we hopefully will continue to build on.

What I have found interesting is on the subject of flares from reading various comments on social media (locally) - it is becoming quite apparent younger people don't see what the issue is with using flares - and the actions were that of "Silly young laddies". 16 clubs this years have had issues with flares and a number of teams have been fined more than once. So clearly the message isn't getting across to the persons using flares at matches.

For me the solution has to be clubs/SFA doing more to engage with younger people to seek their views on the game as ultimately they are the future. Unfortunately at all levels of the games the gap in ages between the people are widening - so to ignore the views of younger people moving forward we do so at our pearl.

Pretty sure that's unenforcable. Nothing illegal about ANYONE from ANYWHERE hiring a bus to watch a football match. Surely?

Of course it is. A load of shite that is obviously only getting done in hope that the SFA take it on board when punishing them. They can't enforce that, they also can't just distance themselves away from these people, ok they might just be day trippers, but they're clearly there to watch Linlithgow, anyone travelling 2 hours on a midweek night to watch a game of football clearly supports the club in some capacity.
