Awch.

You're almost endearing with the attention you give me. Bless yer wee cotton socks.

If people pointing and laughing at you counts at attention, then you must have had a particularly deprived life champ.

My Team: Rangers

Yep.

Oh my god. That might be the most irony filled post I've ever seen.

Honestly, vikingTON, I thought you were more intelligent than that. Did you not win King of PnB or Most Influential PnB'er or something? How did you do that whilst being so stupid? I'm honestly - without a word of a lie - disappointed every time you reply to me. I keep expecting some decent arguments or at least some things to get me thinking and every time you let me down and post really quite pathetic, narcissistic nonsense.

Genuinely disappointed in you man. Feel free to never respond to me again; I've already invested too much of my time replying to you.

(Threw a wee semi colon in there for you, I know you you love them)

Airdrieonians are not the same Airdrie that made the Scottish Cup Final and had Kenny Black pretending to be a footballer in the early 90s. Airdrie fans, currently, don't have any real right to claim the previous Airdrie's triumphs as their own. That club died. They were liquidated. The new club might claim to have their previous history but they don't really.

Does this diminish the memories of Airdrie fans? Does this mean they can't compare the current team to the previous one? Of course not. Likewise The Rangers fans memories of European triumphs or Old Firm wins wont be diminished because The Rangers are not Rangers.

Do Airdrie fans deny their club died? No. They don't. The club was liquidated. They died. Clydebank and Gretna fans are the same. Their club died. It exists no longer. Why is it only Rangers fans who can't face this?

Well, clearly, it's their arrogance. Whereas other "Phoenix Clubs" fans built their club up from the bottom themselves (and we do mean the very bottom and not pretending the 3rd division is the bottom) they done so with the goodwill of other supporters and other clubs chairmen. Gretna, for instance, weren't magically transported into the Senior Non-League set up. They had to make their case to the chairmen at that level and hope they were given the chance to re-enter at that level and Gretna fans are appreciative of the other clubs giving them that chance. Gretna fans aren't arrogant.

Rangers, after dying, had to put the begging bowl out and didn't like it. Whereas other clubs had to show what they could bring to a league or division Rangers had nothing to show apart from "THE BIG HOOSE MUST STAY OPEN!". Rangers weren't coming out saying "We think we'd be a benefit to this league" but being the same arrogant arseholes they were for decades previous. "Armageddon" and "Death of Scottish football" and other such bollocks was flung out. But, for all their bravado, their attempts to bully the SPL into keeping them in the league was called as the bluff it always was. So they turned to the SFL.

The SFL bent their own rules, they bent over backwards to help The Rangers, they made deals with proud clubs with long histories who had played by the rules, unlike Rangers and The Rangers, to make sure they never kicked up a stink about being denied the right to apply for the free spot (the reason there was a free spot: Rangers died). When The Rangers, the club, the company, the fans, the players, the board, and EVERYTHING to do with that foul smelling football team from Ibrox needed help they got it from the SFA, the SFL and the member clubs. They like to bitch and whine about how they were treated unfairly but that club, in some format, still exists and was parachuted into a level it didn't belong in at the expense of other clubs who had earned that right.

And that's what pisses off Sevco fans. Not being reminded their team died (it doesn't piss of Airdrie or Clydebank fans) or being reminded their club has no history (even Livingston fans don't care about that) but it's being reminded that the big, wonderful, powerful club, Rangers FC, had to beg for their survival and they only exist (whether you claim it's a new club or a continuation) because the chairmen of our clubs let them. And, because of this, no matter if they get back into the top flight, and start winning trophies, and even get 10-in-a-row that club, now and forever, will always be our bitches.

I don't think this post could be quoted enough.

GreenIed too.

Oh, and if Bears Fight Back are interested, you can have my username too. I can direct the police to my 11 year old nephew and his granddad who had bottles launched at them.

The morton fans must have said something for that kind of reaction.

Diddies always try and give it the big un' then shite it.
