TheLip69
Fucksake, this is rotten news. Cruyff was my all time hero when it comes to Football. I made my first trip to Barcelona when he signed for them, and went back a couple of times when he was manager. Loved him as a player, he should be quoted alongside Pele, Maradona, Puskas, and Di Stefano. Rest in peace, Johann.

Ned Nederlander
One of my earliest memories of watching football was Cruyff in 1974. Here he is doing what Henry and Pires couldn't: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sEk61PRlFs

Managed to get to Barcelona and watch a game that he was playing in. Edt. Managed, not played. Was 1989.

The Minertaur
Sad news. Can still remember practising the Cruyff turn in my back garden as a kid and the first time I actually pulled it off in a match. Super player.

archie guevara
Knew it was coming, but it has still knocked the stuffing out of me. Perhaps it's just that it's a sign of my own mortality.
