archieb
So where does the tractor come into all this? Today's Daily Wreckord: "HURLFORD had that sinking feeling yesterday - when a bogged-down tractor put paid to their Pollok clash. The tractor got stuck on the pitch and caused too much damage to repair in time for today's Scottish Junior Cup first-leg semi. Red-faced Hurlford asked Lok to play at home first but the Glasgow side declined." A work of fiction, or what? I seem to remember a similar tale being wheeled out to explain a postponement at Keanie Park last season ..... ???

Markka
Pollok could have agreed. Not that much of an advantage playing away first. I'm with Lok here. They'd be mad to take on a home Scottish Junior Cup semi final tie at a days notice. The money lost on programmes, sponsorship etc wouldn't be worth it.
