NorthernLights
They basically applaud their fans for engaging in violence.... We acknowledge that a tiny minority of Rangers fans also encroached on the pitch but only after having been faced with prolonged and severe provocation and in order to protect our players and officials who were being visibly attacked in front of them. Any club’s supporters would have done the same.

theoriginalhedge
Think the failed 24h director mr graham does alot of the PR shite for them now. Sounds more like a Jim Traynor effort IMO.
Hughsie
All of a sudden defeat today is a lot easier to take. Good luck, Premiership.
Dons_1988
I'll say it again, that statement. Fucking hell.
ScotSquid
This has overtaken Celtic's 'we demand clarification' statement for minteriness. I never thought I'd see that day.
RandomGuy.
Think the failed 24h director mr graham does alot of the PR shite for them now. Fair enough. Unsurprisingly Rangers fans now popping up everywhere saying its a great statement. General feeling is that everyones against them and they'll now go out their way to "fight for the club" every game next season. Fabulous.
altair79
"Up to our knees in ****** blood, surrender or you`ll die". "Alan Stubbs ****** b*****d". I look forward to The Rangers issuing a statement condemning the "goading and threatening" and "thuggish" chanting of their fans throughout what was otherwise a tremendous Cup Final yesterday.
The Ginger Prince
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahaha that statement is one of the best things I've ever read. The Rangers FC, broken into a million bits by Hibernian football club. Sooooooooperb.
THE KING
Where was this statement last January when 600 Rangers fans had to be held back from breaking into the offices at Ibrox ! but some got in and injured 2 of the staff there?
WhiteRoseKillie
Tragic. Cheers, RG. Are we sure that's an actual statement by them, though? If so, it must be a World Record in self-parody. Absolutely incredible.
the 67
You could easily connect with Wallace from 5 yards away. His hooter is at least that long. So true......he is going to take someones eye out with that thing if he turns his head........the thing is fkn out of order!!!

Lofarl
We've wrecked them. We have utterly made them ours and everyone's else's bitches. They very fact that every other fanbase from Aberdeen to Hearts took one look at what happened, shrugged their shoulders and said at worst a few arseholes in the hibs end. Every shocking video released those biter buffoons was just another nail in their coffin. They simply can't handle the fact that no one bar the west coast media is buying into their shite. It's fucking glorious. What a utter tear stained rant from the club that will ever be known as the team that shat it in the final against Hibs. -
Have some faith in Magic
It's only missing an 'h' inserted as the second letter of the most of the words.
Ned Nederlander
Hes hired by Rangers to do all their PR work now isn't he? Means he can officially peddle his shite instead of doing it behind the falsehood of being a journalist. I thought he got punted by them ... whilst waiting on his media equipment to arrive! ?
TonMan
As bad as the scenes after the game were (and there'll certainly be repercussions), I find the idea that it's somehow "tainted" the victory, overshadowed it and "everyone will forget what happened before on the pitch" from some media figures to be a bit ridiculous. Hibs fans certainly aren't going to forget the game itself, and I doubt many others will either. Disappointing scenes, aye, but it doesn't change the game beforehand at all, and it's a bit silly to suggest that it does.

Rugster
I thought he got punted by them ... whilst waiting on his media equipment to arrive! ? He seems to be back. He read the statement yesterday after the game.
