The Clyde Man
Marsh & McQueen or what we have now, what would be your preference? I always liked them together. Good luck and thanks Marshy. Perry? if he signs let's see what he can do for us. Centre-half badly needed.
David W
Marsh and McQueen worked as a centre half pairing as we defended narrower (even though we had attacking full-backs in Brown/MacDonald) and also deeper (counter attack was our main threat). In fact, they were much better when we had Gray/McGhee playing as a slightly more defensive option as they tucked in as a three when MacDonald went forward. The minute we started to split the centre halves more under BF, they struggled. Didn't help themselves by making horrendous errors at the wrong times either. I don't think either is as good a passer as Oliver, McNeil or McNiff. I'd stick with what we have now.

Pride Of The Clyde
Sorry to see him go. The state of our defence this season i would have started him in central defence ahead of Oliver and McNiff, both of whom i am still unsure of. Good luck to him wherever he ends up,as had already been said always gave 100% and you can't ask for anything more.

The_BullyWee
It's good to see that Fergie will hopefully be available very soon and sounds as though he could be on the bench for next weekends game!

SLClyde
Marsh was a decent player and always gave 100%, and aye him and McQueen were good but obviously not good enough to get us promoted. I'm happy to try different things to get us up. Although we're conceding a few more just now we're scoring more, might just work.
BinosCammy
A friend at my work today whos is a Clyde supporter told me you's were getting Brad Mckay from St Johnstone ? I laughed at him until i read that he'd been realsed from St Johnstone the past day, would be a good signing for you's

Only one David Marsh
Marshy He was a true clyde man always gave his all for the team, he's probably lived the dream scoring for the club he supported from a boy. #hesoneofourown

bullyweehutch
Injury set back for JP. Very disappointing we missed him at the end of last season
The_BullyWee
I'm gutted JP ain't going to be back for another 3 months as he was excellent last season and think he will fit well into the new team.
FREDDYFRY
Agreed on JP big disappointment; was a major loss in play off in particular, may have been the difference such was his influence in the later stages of last season before his injury.
clyde123
Disappointed for JP. Have to say though Scott McLaughlin has been our most consistent performer in the holding role this season.
