It’s going to be end of September by the time we see any of these guys by the looks of it! Plus with Drey Wright taking a knock on Saturday, we literally have no pace up front. What's encouraging is that MacLean is saying what we are all thinking in terms of what the squad lacks. He can see what we can all see in terms of needing a wide player, a midfielder and another striker. One of the biggest gripes with Davidson is that he couldn't see or ignored, the obvious. The types he's added so far have been so encouraging. Three or four guys who have serious international ambitions, maybe even all five depending on Olufunwa's situation with Nigeria. Complete contrast to last summer. It's the simplest thing in the world to just tell supporters where you are looking to strengthen then doing it. It's something Davidson just couldn't seem to comprehend with his clandestine approach. Momo Sylla was immense and kind of gets forgotten by Saints fans. Possibly one of the most naturally talented player we have had in the McDiarmid era and at times completely unpredictable.
