First game of next season

Recommended Posts

Dundee united away, catch them whilst the squad are strangers to each other plus a good away day.

I'm definitely going to a different place from you.

Dundee itself is pretty poverty ridden.

The away end scares me with that narrow hall exit.

The police are dicks.

What am I not getting?

I quite like tannadice, might be a little quieter this coming season but its a decent place to watch football. The area surrounding it isn't great though I'll give you that.

I've enjoyed it once out of 10 visits.

The game we beat them on the penalties.

That's probably because Lee Bullen gave me a big hug after the equaliser though :wub:B)

I'll take the Pars at EEP. Never seen us lose to them there...

Feck that with them unfurling their flag!

Dundee Utd at home as they'll bring a big crowd to the 1st game and that would give us lots of ££££££££.

Hibs at home, guessing we will get Ayr away.

Don't think we can have an away tie, flag day anaw that.

Hibs at home is a good shout, Dundee United would be a decent game too. We could expect about 6,000 for either of those on the opening day.

What's the most we are entitled to at east end? I'd imagine depending on who the manager is and how we do in Europe, us taking a larger crowd than usual over the bridge.

Can't see us using any more than the Norrie, the Main Stand (minus the South East section) and the North West, so if you were to sell out the East stand quite quickly then I don't see why you wouldn't get the North East as well, which is roughly 1,000 on top of the initial 3,000 in the East stand.

Ruining Dunfermline's flag party sounds extremely appealing and would no doubt generate a large support from both sides, however ruining it is not guaranteed and would be a difficult fixture to start off with, as Morton away proved last season.

In recent seasons I've seen us be Pars last home game when they went down from the SPL.

Us be Pars last home game when they won the 1st division.

Pars be our 1st game of the season after we were relegated.

Also we were their 1st game after the administrators came in.

Let's add to the set by being their 1st game after promotion.

Sounds meaty and a huge 8000 plus crowd easy

The only thing that's poverty ridden in Dundee is yer Maw when she goes to Broughty Ferry on holiday.
